Veracity: "truthfulness". I question the veracity of the most recent government reported figures on unemployment.

Aver: to state positively as true; declare. I aver that officials of the U.S. government continues to underplay the depth of our current recession for fear of making the recession worse by telling the truth.

Verify: to prove to be true or correct. To check or test the accuracy of. I do not provide financial information to websites or telemarketers that cannot verify their real identity.

Verisimilitude: 1. The appearance of being true or probable. 2. The depiction of realism in art or literature. Means literally "like the truth". I enjoy movies with a lot of verisimilitude.

Verity: a true fact or statement. I aver that only 10% of communication is based on verity.
